Engineer trainee Program (IETP 2018/2019) to provide career development
opportunities to young and bright men and women in the field of Engineering.
Indorama Engineer Trainee Program - 2018 / 2019
Objectives
To provide learning opportunities to fresh & meritorious Graduate and Diploma Engineers, equip them with necessary knowledge, skills & attitudes and mold them to be competent engineers and operators.
Training Schemes
1. Graduate Engineer Training Program (GET)
i. Eligibility: Fresh I Degree / HND Engineers from Universities and Federal Polytechnics.
ii. Disciplines: Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Computers / Civil / Petroleum & Petrochemical / Production
iii. Duration of Training: 12 months
2. Diploma Engineer Training Program (DET)
i. Eligibility: National Diploma / Equivalent from Federal Polytechnics and Technical Education Institutes
ii. Disciplines: Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Computers / Civil / Petroleum & Petrochemical / Production
iii. Duration of Training: 18 months
Selection
· All the eligible candidates will be subjected to two stage selection process - Written Test (Technical & Aptitude) and Personal Interview.
· Candidates who pass through both stages will be eligible for training.
· Candidates from the Eleme Host Communities would have to score a minimum of 50% while others would have to score a minimum of 60% marks in the Written Test, to qualify for the Personal Interviews.
· Company shall take cognizance of provisions in the MOU with Host Communities in this regard.
Stipend & Other Facilities
· Trainees would be a paid consolidated monthly stipend during the period of training.
· The trainees are eligible to use the company’s transport for commuting between the place of stay & factory and can avail one free meal for every working day.
Absorption
Only the candidates who scores above the stipulated cut-off marks will be absorbed on Company’s regular roles based on the vacancy & requirements.
